My hair gets messed up when it rains, but despite this negative effect I enjoy the rain. The sound of rain relaxes me and calms me down and helps me think better. It also makes me tired and want to sleep a lot, and the overcast sky covered with gray rain clouds blocks out the sun from disturbing my sleep. I don't like the way it makes the ground wet and walking becomes a hastle to have to worry about puddles, but the smell of rain when its warm outside is one of my favorite scents to encounter.

Christmas seems fairly far off, but it seems to be an occassion that is arriving sooner than i expected it to. Christmas is one of my favorite time of years because it puts everyone in a good mood, and the decorations make everything more breautiful. I love going around looking at all of the different lights that people put up, and walking around parks viewing the decorations. I also love the Christmas Parade, and getting woken up on Christmas morning, by my younger sister to open presents. The snow is something else that makes Christmas better, covering the ground with a fresh blanket of snow on Christmas Eve so that Christmas day the ground is covered with an even layer of snow.

Working didn't seem to be so bad, but school has been hectic lately and I've been bogged down with homework, projects, and studying for tests. I'm extremely tired and wish that Thanksgiving Break would hurry up and arrive or at least the weekend, but mostly I wish that I didn't have to work. Hopefully things will slow down soon and I'll be able to keep up them for now.
